Howard Barton is the owner and main Photographer in Precious Image Photography.
Alongside the photographic competition successes above, Howard has also gained professional qualifications as a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS); He is also an as yet unqualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP). Howard has been a qualified member of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers(LSWPP), and the British Professional Photographers Association(LBPPA), but has let his membership to these organisations lapse. He also completed an NVQ in multi-media, which included the use of Adobe Photoshop, the industry standard tool used for photo editing – a skill which Howard is constantly developing (please excuse the pun!).

- Precious Image have a range of modern, professional equipment, enabling them to service various photographic assignments – including both Studio and Location work. This includes the equipment needed to offer ‘event’ photography, which is where the photographer attends your event, be it a party, graduation, formal ball, awards ceremony, sporting event or competition; this can be approached by setting up a mini-studio area at the event, or by photographing people at their tables, during the awards or competing etc. We can bring along a Professional Photo printer to produce 6″x8″ prints ‘live’ at the event. We can be very flexible to try and meet your requirements.
Howard has been Criminal Records Bureau checked for working with the vulnerable – Children, the Elderly and Disabled – and is in possession of a valid, enhanced disclosure certificate dated 2007.
